2. General Information on Data Protection
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy below.
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator's contact details in the "Controller" section of this privacy policy.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. The hosting provider is Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA (hereinafter "Microsoft").
When you visit our website, your data is processed on Microsoft's servers. In particular, your IP address, date and time of access, pages visited, browser type and operating system may be recorded (server log files). This data is processed to ensure a smooth connection, comfortable use of our website, evaluation of system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and efficient provision of this website.
Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and thus provides an adequate level of data protection. Further information can be found in Microsoft's privacy policy at: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement
A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Microsoft, ensuring the data protection-compliant handling of personal data.
4. SSL/TLS Encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
5. Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided (name, email address, phone number, message), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
The data you enter in the contact form is transmitted via a secure connection to a Microsoft Teams channel (webhook integration). This data is used exclusively for the internal processing of your inquiry.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing inquiries).
Your data will be deleted after your inquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If your inquiry results in a contractual relationship, the data will be deleted after the statutory retention periods expire.
6. Data Processing via Microsoft Teams
The data submitted via the contact form is forwarded to Microsoft Teams via a webhook integration. Microsoft Teams is a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the efficient internal processing of customer inquiries.
Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement with Microsoft pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
7. Local Storage (localStorage)
This website uses your browser's localStorage to save your language preference (German/English). localStorage is a browser-side storage mechanism that does not transmit any data to our server.
The stored language preference does not contain any personal data. It is merely a technical value (e.g., "de" or "en") that serves to improve user experience.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing our website in a user-friendly manner in the language preferred by the user. The storage is also permissible under Section 25(2) No. 2 TTDSG (German Telecommunications Telemedia Data Protection Act), as it is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user (language selection).
You can delete the localStorage at any time via your browser settings.
8. Cookies
This website does not use cookies. Neither first-party cookies nor third-party cookies are set. In particular, no tracking or analytics cookies are used.
9. Analytics Tools and Tracking
This website does not use any analytics tools, tracking services, or social media plugins. No profiling or behavior-based analysis takes place.
10. Job Portal (bewerbung.tekanet.com)
We operate our own job portal at bewerbung.tekanet.com. Like our website, it is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The information on data processing by Microsoft described in Section 3 (Hosting) applies accordingly.
When you apply via our job portal, your application data (e.g., name, contact details, cover letter, CV) will be processed for the purpose of conducting the application process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Section 26 BDSG (data processing for employment purposes).
Your application data will be deleted after the application process has been completed, unless statutory retention obligations apply — generally no later than six months after the process has concluded.
11. Server Log Files
The hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These include in particular:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Hostname of the accessing device
- IP address
- Time of the server request
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website.
